Aida is based in the heart of Dakar, the capital of Senegal. Aida is a proud mum selling her handmade local beads to support her family. Aida has an extremely keen eye when it comes to attention to detail which can be seen in her impeccable beadwork. Aida often likes to use significant and symbolic items such as the crowie shell to represent her culture.

She usually sells her items to tourists however due to the pandemic, travel restrictions have been at an all time high and Aida has struggled as selling her handmade items, is her main source of income.
